Meet the team
David
Our managing director David oversees all aspects of our business. His engineering degrees mean you'll often find him on the factory floor, working through a problem with the engineers.
In his spare time, you'll find him playing golf, skiing and travelling.
David
Operations director David is responsible for ensuring production, warehouse, engineering, quality and purchasing run in an efficient way.
A self-confessed petrol head, he spends his weekends tinkering with cars and watching motorsport – plus playing chauffeur for his two teenage daughters.
Gemma
Our marketing director Gemma is based in our US office, and is responsible for brand building, and ensuring that we effectively communicate our point of difference to both existing and new customers.
When she's not in the office, you'll most likely find her seeking the sun in a country far, far away.
Jean-Pierre
Jean-Pierre is our export sales manager, and is responsible for developing our export business for both the matting and strapping divisions, which includes appointing and managing our partners.
When he's not talking about matting, he keeps fit by swimming and cycling – and loves to cook with his kids.
Keith
A key member of our sales team, Keith looks after matting sales in the UK and Ireland, and strapping sales in Scotland and Ireland.
An avid motorsport and music fan, Keith spends his weekends watching motor sport and playing drums – anything loud!
Lois
Our fearless office manager Lois manages our administration team, oversees sales support and our back office systems.
When she's not at work or looking after her two children, she enjoys going to the cinema, spending time with family and friends, and attending her weekly Zumba classes.
Marvin
As our projects and design engineer, Marvin looks after the manufacture of new machinery and spare components. He also supervises our engineering team.
Outside of the office, you'll find him travelling, carp fishing and riding his 1963 Lambretta.
Michael
As our works engineer, Michael oversees our engineering and facilities onsite, develops work and maintenance schedules, and liaises with contractors.
When he's not at work, you'll find him supporting Southend United FC, watching motorcycle racing and travelling.
Peter
As our sales director, Peter is responsible for leading the UK and USA sales teams. He also manages matting and strapping sales in Scandinavia, Iberian Peninsula, Middle East, South East Asia and Australasia.
When he's not selling matting, you'll find him sailing, watching rugby and playing the odd game of cricket and golf... sometimes at the same time.
Richard
Richard (or Dicky to his friends) is one of our four shift foreman. He makes sure every single job in our manufacturing site is performed to the highest quality, and all production is running effectively.
When he's not at work, you'll most likely find him fishing or horse racing.
Rob
As our planning and quality manager, Rob oversees the quality of our matting and flooring products, and manages the output of the production unit.
Outside the office, you'll find Rob spending time with his family and supporting local football – he even runs two of his children’s youth teams.
Steve
Shift foreman Steve is responsible for making sure every job in our manufacturing site is performed to the highest quality, and everything is running effectively.
His spare time is a bit stretched with two kids, but when he does have a minute, you'll find him working on his old Ford cars.
Steve
As our warehouse foreman, Steve has the mammoth task of overseeing all matting and flooring shipments – domestic and export.
Away from the warehouse, you'll find him supporting Southend United FC, watching American football and spending time with his dog.
Ziyaad
Our financial controller Ziyaad keeps our business running smoothly by producing financial statements and assessing company performance through different models of financial analysis.
When Ziyaad isn’t crunching the numbers, you’ll find him fishing (ideally in Mauritius!) or playing badminton.
