Flexigrid helps keep workplace free from waste
Global manufacturer Technical Fibre Products was in need of a surface that was slip resistant and could dissipate large volumes of liquid.
The problem
Global manufacturer Technical Fibre Products (TFP) specialize in making high performance non-woven materials for fire protection, thermal insulation, power storage and more. A by-product of TFP’s unique wet-laid production process is that large volumes of fluid and other corrosive industrial materials can seep onto the production floor. The manufacturer needed a matting solution that could cover a large area, keep workers safe from slipping on unwanted debris, and cope with the heavy-duty demands of a fast-paced industrial workplace.

The solution
After TFP stress-tested several different products to find the best fit, Plastex’s Flexigrid matting came out on top. The diamond tread surface delivers traction and certified slip resistance, while the matting’s elevated height of 20mm means any hazardous matter can be quickly dispersed and drained.
Flexigrid's flexible roll format means it can be loose laid for quick installation, and easily rolled up to enable regular cleaning. And because it's made from non-porous PVC, the Flexigrid workshop mat repels oils, acids and chemicals, making it perfect for a place like TFP.
